Partial or targeted PPF focuses protection on the areas that take the most contact and impact — commonly the front bumper, bonnet, front fenders, mirror caps (ORVMs), and headlamp areas where appropriate, along with door edges, door cups, boot lip, and door sills for everyday contact protection.

This depends on the current condition of the paint.
